deep
Generates a deep company research document — funding history, leadership, recent press, product trajectory, comp band signals, red flags. Use it before you apply to a Series B+ company you do not already know well.
What it does
deep mode runs a research prompt against the company name, pulling together funding history (Crunchbase, Pitchbook signals), recent news, leadership backgrounds, product/business model summary, comp signals from public sources, and a flagged-risks section. The output is a structured brief you can read in fifteen minutes.
When to use it
Use deep when applying to a company at Series B or later where the decision to apply (or not) requires knowing more than the JD tells you.
Example
`/career-ops deep` + company name — output is a markdown brief covering funding, leadership, product, and risk signals.Gotchas
deep depends on the quality of public information about the company. Stealth-mode startups will produce sparse briefs. Verify everything against primary sources before high-stakes decisions.
